Speakers in 2009
TERRY WILLIAMS
Terry is the Children’s Ministry consultant for Scripture Union QLD and International, with over 30 years of frontline experience. In his keynote address Terry will be sharing with us on “The Missing Piece in Children's Ministry”, and will be running an advanced workshop on raising the bar in children's ministry. Terry is a widely respected practitioner with a wealth of knowledge and a heart for training and nurturing people involved in children’s ministry.
TAMMY TOLMAN
Tammy has an international reputation as a gifted teacher, writer, speaker, songwriter, kid’s pastor and Illawarra local. She has produced resources, a comprehensive Sunday school curriculum, DVD’s and CD’s, and together with her husband David started the company ‘Spot the Difference’.
GLENN COOMBS
Glenn is the CEO of Scripture Union NSW, an international organisation that has been involved in NSW state schools since 1935, primarily through ISCF Groups and SUPA Clubs in primary schools. Glenn is an advisor to a number of School Ministry organisations and is Chairman of SRE and Chaplaincy provider Genr8 Ministries.
DAVID GOODWIN
David is the director of Kidsreach, and is a bible college lecturer, counsellor and writer. He spends most of his time as a trainer for children's ministry workers in Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, PNG, Indonesia and various other countries.
SAM STEWART
Sam is a TAFE teacher in Child Studies based in Wollongong with 19 years of experience in both NSW and South Australia. She is a mother of four, married to Darryl, and has been a Christian since she was 16. Sam loves children, is an excellent camp mum on beach mission and can feed an army at a moment's notice.
YVONNE GUNNING
Yvonne has a passion to reach kids in her local community with the good news about Jesus. She is an evangelist and trained with the Church Army, specialising in evangelism with children. Yvonne has spent 11 years putting this passion into practice in various parishes, and spent 5 years as a consultant with Anglican Youthworks.

Andy Kirk is the Queensland State Director of Kids 'R' Us, and is the Childrens’ Pastor at Metro Church on the Gold Coast
BRUCE BOYLE
Bruce is Scripture Union's Director of School Ministries. He has been involved in ministry with students for many years, working as a primary school teacher, outdoor educator, and in professional development and training.
